10/05/18 "SHARE," IT IS THE CHRISTIAN THING TO DO
"SHARE."
It is easy, free, fast and it is a great way to promote a message, an event, a ministry.
Christians need to SHARE more.
The more often and the more wide spread and the more supported a person, an event, a message or a ministry is seen, heard, or publicized, the more people will see it and the more likely that someone will respond.
It is not shameful to spread the news about the good news.
It is not a disgrace to let others know that you are "enthusiastic" about God in you.
It is not cheap to promote the eternal riches of Christ.
It is not wasted words to publish Glad Tidings.
It is not self promoting to lift up Jesus.
We (Christ following, church going, Bible believers) must not become so familiar with the Old Old Story that we forget the impact that it has on other people.
I have seen a handful of people, who joined together in proclaiming and demonstrating the message of God reach THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, and stir the hunger and desire of a great number of sinners, because the believers were LIFTING JESUS UP.
There is plenty of DARKNESS being promoted. There is very little LIGHT and EXCITEMENT FOR JESUS in our world.
Publishing and promoting the message and ministry of Christ is not a gimmick. In fact, it is the commission of God to His people.
It does not cheapen the gospel to offer it free and freely to a lost world.
John 3:14-15
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Romans 10:13-15
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
2 Corinthians 4:1-6
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
