02/24/18 THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED

02/24/18 THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED
'cause it's politically correct

(I posted a clip from, "Have Gun, Will Travel," in which a sheriff was taking guns away from everyone in town, and leaving the citizenry unprotected from the bad guys, including a potential "throat slitter." When the sheriff was told about the danger he was ushering in, he said, "What does that mean.")

Actually, it is because American Government has rejected God's will in Romans 13:1-5 and 1 Peter 2:13-14. The Bible teaches that it is Government's job, through law enforcement and military, to protect the righteous and punish the wicked. (please read the two passages below).

I am not a gun enthusiast, but the right of the citizens in this country to bear arms to resist all enemies, domestic and foreign has kept oppressive Government at bay. The Second Amendment is not the right to shoot squirrels or robbers, but rather to stop oppressive Government, including domestic. Of course, most people who boast about the right to bear arms are following a wicked, Christless Government in the ruin of themselves, their children and our nation.

While our Government gives preference to those who hate our history and our way of life they are giving up the citizens as sacrifices on the altar of "self serving."

If the Government would deal with evil doers there would be no such foolishness as thinking about arming teachers or having veterans police the schools. Come on people. There are some wonderful and law abiding citizens who are teachers and/or veterans, but there are some nut cases also, as well as people in law enforcement. Government needs to do the responsible thing by protecting and punishing; by enforcing law and by choosing and training law enforcement properly and by punishing (stopping) law breakers.

Romans 13:1-5
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

1 Peter 2:13-14
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
