12/08/18 NOT ABOUT ME
You may wonder why I post about myself and my negative experiences and my detractors. THREE basic reasons.
1. The attacks and trials I refer to are universal and common to Christians. We can all benefit from the truths I try to share along these lines.
2. There are people who read my articles, even though they have been misled by the lies leveled against us by our detractors, and I hope to help them out of the errors of their way.
3. There are others who will be targeted by those who attack me; the word, which I proclaim; and the ministry, which I perform, in service to God. Those people should be warned about the attacks, which will come their way.
When I refer to my background and experiences, the focus is not on me. I am wanting others to see the power of God, regardless of our difficulties. Also, I am warning others about the trials they will possibly face, and realize that they can overcome anything if they live by the word of God, rather than by the word of men.
I am a Pastor. My ministry is feeding, leading and protecting people. I have watched over the years and seen that such antagonistic attacks not only destroy those who are being attacked, but it destroys families who fall victim to the wolves in sheep's clothing.
Look for the principles I address rather than the personalities. It is not about me or them. It is about God and His ability to keep us in the midst of the storms of life.
Trust me, I don't really like to think about those who oppose God or God's people.
