04/02/18 A HERITAGE FROM THE LORD
(comments I made concerning a photo and a video on my Timeline)
Not long after this photo (by the time I was three years old) God called me to be a preacher. It has not always been smooth sailing, but His Chart and Compass have never failed.
Thank you. I was two years old in this photo and living in L.A. California at the time. I would soon be going to Scotland with my mom, to visit her family. Although I did not have Christian parents, and we were not a church going family, God spoke to me through Bible stories.
I heard and I received Christ into my life (into my heart) and God called me to be a preacher within a year of this photo. I not only knew about Jesus, I knew Him personally and lived in communion with Him. I also definitely knew that He called me to be a preacher. I have always known what God wanted me to do. It was real and not imaginary. This is why I have made childhood conversions a part of my ministry.
The sooner a child finds Christ, the less power Satan has over that child. Of course, as great as an early start may be, it must be followed by continued faith in Jesus and self denying love.
I am blessed with talented children and grandchildren. Right relationships are far more important than talents and gifts, but when abilities and attitudes are aligned with Jesus, there is nothing better. This is one of my granddaughters singing. She actually does love the Lord. I have been abundantly blessed with children and grandchildren getting saved at very young ages and then using their abilities to please God. Of course, it is not just a matter of being saved and being gifted, it is a matter of continuing in the faith, in the Lord, in the love of God and in the the grace of God. The advantages to a person who gets saved at a very early age is beyond measure. On the other hand, for a person to turn from the light and love they were raised with brings losses beyond the imagination. Thank you Lord for all my family blessings.
