09/21/18 EVERYONE LOST THEIR SALVATION

NEWSFLASH:
Everyone already did. But repentance restores it.
HERE IS WHAT I MEAN
The Bible teaches that everyone has already been saved and then "lost" their salvation because they have chosen to sin and not repent. In fact, even John MacArthur agrees, but then denies it.
Be careful not to misread what I am saying. I am not talking about universal salvation, which falsely teaches that all men will be ultimately saved.
OKAY, it goes like this...
JESUS DIED for the whole world. (I could give several verses here, but I won't).
JESUS IS SAVIOR of all men (1 Tm. 4:10). This means that all preborns are saved from the pollution of sin which is the sinful nature, the carnal nature, the nature of sin, the Old Man, the Adamic nature, which we all received from Adam. This sinful nature disqualifies us for heaven. Jesus died and covered us in His death and resurrection. Jesus IS the Savior of all men. No preborn or infant is left in sin, because of God's grace. It is the saving grace that makes it possible for preborn and infant children to go to heaven. They have not believed (put their faith in Jesus) but they are saved by grace. This explains why Jesus recognized the "children" as being part of the kingdom of heaven.
BUT ALL HAVE SINNED. After we reach the point when God holds us accountable for our rebellion, we are answerable, accountable for our own sins.
WHEN WE SINNED, we separated ourselves from God and we deserved eternal separation. We were lost. We lost what we had been given by God's grace.
BUT GOD OFFERS US SALVATION FROM OUR SINS by calling us to faith and repentance.
THIS IS WHY 1 TIMOTHY GOES ON TO SAY, and especially those who believe.
Here is the passage.
1 Timothy 4:10
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
So, I say yes, we can and we did lose our salvation from eternal damnation by sinning and then not repenting. But God made salvation available to faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God, and That which is not of faith is sin. We are saved by grace THROUGH FAITH.
If we cast away our faith, our salvation, we can be restored by trusting in Jesus. We are children of God by faith. WITHOUT SAVING FAITH THERE IS NO SALVATION.
