09/23/18 AFTER SINS FORGIVEN, SIN MUST BE REMOVED

09/23/18 AFTER SINS (DISOBEDIENCE) FORGIVEN, SIN (NATURE) MUST BE REMOVED

We can be forgiven of our sins, but our sinful nature must be purged out by the Triune God (His word, His blood, His fire).

GOD SANCTIFIES (PURIFIES) BELIEVERS
(the following is just a short primer on this great truth)

God is One.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three Persons, but these three Persons are all One God. The Bible clearly teaches this. It is not essential that we understand it, but it is imperative that we believer it because the Holy Bible says it clearly.

Initial and Entire Sanctification
Justification, Regeneration and Initial Sanctification (cleansing from sins committed, cleansing from a defiled conscience, and cleansing from sinful living) are essential to salvation, but there is an ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION, COMPLETE CLEANSING that includes the purification from the Old Man (sinful nature), which Christians must enter into in order to be Pure Even As He Is Pure. Remember, we are to be holy, righteous and pure, even as God is. Therefore there is a purifying, a cleansing, holiness that awaits the believer who trusts God for entire, complete, total cleansing from all sin.

THE BIBLE REFERS to this as being Entirely Sanctified. It is the call and the gracious work of God in those who trust Him fully.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

JESUS PRAYED TO THE FATHER, asking that His followers would be Sanctified by the word of the Father.
John 17:15-18
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Ephesians 5:25-27
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS Sanctifies, cleanses, purifies His followers.
Titus 2:11-14
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Hebrews 13:12
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

1 John 1:7
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

THE FULLNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Sanctifies the believer.
Matthew 3:10-12

10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Acts 15:8-9
8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:2
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
