I want to hold Weekend Focus Retreats, including:
Strengthening Marriages
Biblical Churchmanship
Holiness Seminar
HERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS...
I have other FOCUS TOPICS, such as: Family Getaways (parents and children), Father/Son and Mother/Daughter Getaways.
These could be Friday evening through Saturday evening event. (Of course, folks would be welcome to stay for Sunday AM Services).
The group size would be rather small, 4 to 6 couples for Marriage Retreats, and around 8-12 people for other topics.
Though I don't have properties or facilities, I would acquire the meeting facilities. But it would require participants to secure their own housing and care for some of their meals (motels and cabins are available).
There would be:
Fellowship and Sharing Times.
Biblical Insights and Directives.
"Private Time With God" (each person seeking God).
"Getaways" would focus on parent/offspring relationships.
Parent/Offspring Getaways would be based on age of the offspring, such as, Parent and Teens or Parents and Adult Children.
Getaways would involve focused activity time.
This is done as a ministry, not as a business.
This may not actually happen, but I am seeking God's leading in this area. Pray for me. Thank you.
