12/22/18 THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN PRAYING

12/22/18 THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN PRAYING (my respiratory problems).

There have been times this past week, that I did not know if I would make it. It has been a roller coaster sometimes. I don't take anything for granted, but I am hoping I am on the road to recovery right now.

I don't whine or complain (though I do really hurt sometimes,) so I know some of you may be surprised to hear about my ailment. AND BY THE WAY, I read about the real burdens that some of you are carrying with sick, dying, or deceased loved ones.

I pointed out recently that I try to allow God to keep my eyes on Him and to glorify Him during my difficult times. God has never failed me in that area of concern.

Anyone can give praise when the blessings are flowing, but I want to honor Him when it is not convenient. Most people might not be impressed with our praise (especially in the good times), but they certainly will be repulsed by complaining and whining.

Whining begets whining, and I don't want to compound my problem by distrusting and dishonoring God, and I don't want to give the devil any glory for his dark and destructive work he is doing, and I would much rather lift others up with shouts of victory than trod them under with moaning and groaning.

Some folks think that words and attitudes are excusable in difficult times. Well, doubt and joylessness is never excusable. We must feed that which we want to be. We must live by the power and grace of God, and realize that our outward man is the testimony of our real relationship with God
