12/11/18 NOTING THE REAL LOSS

12/11/18 NOTING THE REAL LOSS

In response to my post from DECEMBER 8 (concerning the State oppression of our church in 1986), someone posted a kind and comforting comment. I then answered them with the following comment. I have included it here, since the exchange took place a couple of days after my initial post, and I have posted several other articles since then.

Thank you.

Of course, the building was not the real loss. It was 1986 and we were warning everyone about the arrival of the Post-Christian era and the rise of Humanism and Statism, which was targeting Christians and Bible believing churches. Christians were losing their homes, their jobs, their children, and being jailed, all across the country, and no one would listen.

There were believers who saw the problem, and because they stood firm for God, they became the targets of the State. We were all losing our country and our freedom, and no one would listen, which meant that everyone was losing, whether they knew it or not. People just could not believe that America was no longer America.

The "Christian" world was bowing to the State and betraying Bible believers. Wickedness was either drawing the saved back into worship and service to the world with a velvet glove of promises or it was driving believers from the faith with an iron glove of persecution. We lost our country, our freedom, our ministry in North Carolina, our families and our friends.

And remember, this was 15 years before the 9/11 attacks
. This was before most Americans realized how perversity of the State was attacking the family and abusing boys and girls and destroying homes and undermining the authority of home, family, church and the Bible. Within 20 years our place of worship became a stronghold for Satan, because "Christian" leaders and Government strongmen yielded to darkness.
