05/29/18 OFFERING A BARGAN
YOUR HEIRS THAT THEIR INHERITANCE IS GOING TO A MINISTRY IF THEY DON'T GET THEIR CHILDREN INTO BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCH
UH HUH, I ain't joking
You already knew I was nuts. This ought to help.
BECAUSE
It is your stuff, to give as you chose.
They are your grandchildren, you are offering then an even break.
You love your children and your grandchildren.
You are not asking for somethng bad or harmful.
You are not obligated to support a lifestyle without Christ.
In fact, the old saying is,
DO YOUR GIVING
WHILE YOUR LIVING,
THEN YOU'RE KNOWING,
WHERE IT'S GOING.
This thought is just a suggestion, which might be effective for some folks.
I know my suggestion sounds radical. But it is not an evil suggestion.
Some of y'all already have your grandchildren in a Bible preaching church. Praise the Lord.
Some of y'all are poorer than a church mouse. I have actually read about people like that (hehehe). So I also realize that this is not much of an incentive.
Some of y'all have children that are much better off financially than y'all are. Again, not effective.
Some folks just don't like the sound of it. I understand.
But hey, would you pay a ransom to save your grandchildren?
It is like paying their way to camp or spending money on a very special gift or treat, or paying for swimming lessons or a good life jacket.
I am NOT saying this is a Biblical directive to us. I am saying that the attack on children and youth is intensifying, and if the old methods have not worked, maybe putting our money where our mouth is, is not a bad idea. If nothing else is getting your grandchildren to be trained in the word of God, and if you can't come up with another idea, then maybe this is not totally unthinkable.
Also, remember, you are offering something that is good for the whole family. You would be willing to put your money into a needed operation or medical procedure or therapy, why not for their eternal souls?
When you stop to think about it, you give your tithes and offerings to a good Bible church because you want them to reach the unreached.
Anyway, if you don't want to, don't worry about it. Maybe you have a better idea.
(and NO, I am not suggesting that this takes the place of prayer and witnessing.)
