07/30/18 NOT GUILTY, NOT RESPONSIBLE
We are not guilty for another person's sins.
We are not guilty for their failure to trust and follow Jesus.
We must not excuse their sin.
MY REASON FOR THIS POST
I posted this because some folks try to make Christians feel guilty when they are out of fellowship with people who have chosen to sin and chosen not to turn from sin and then the believer is faced with giving the rebellious one a pass, in order to look tolerant and forgiving.
Christians are not responsible for the sinful choices of rebellious people.
Christians are given Divine authority to restore rebellious people to a right standing in the church, while they are refusing to obey God.
Christians are not allowed to circumvent the redemptive word of God by offering Christian fellowship to those who belligerently resist the will of God by not repenting and reconciling with God and His people.
