An ISSUE today is the "transgendering" of our society. Ignore this, and you will have a male for a daughter-in-law. Crazy me.
Such a confused person will be male and will not only SAY that he is FEMALE or "other" or "non binary," he will think he is something beside MALE and he will think it is normal to deny biological sex or gender.
AND, (get this now) AND, your son may not even know about his intended WIFE being plumbed as a male until it is too late or he may never find out because the plumber changed the plumbing.
THIS IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM THAT MUST BE ADDRESSED. (makes me glad that those weirdos who labeled my Biblical teaching and preaching as being ISSUES ORIENTED decided to openly deny and defy me. but it is sad that other people are so spiritually and morally bankrupt that they join forces with those who blaspheme Bible truths, Bible people and Bible preachers).
What kind of family, spiritual, social, moral cesspool are the young people headed for, because the deviance of Liberalism is allowed to run rampant, in a world without Biblical and Divine authority?

I WAS GOING TO ADD THIS AS A COMMENT TO AN EARLIER POST, BUT I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT FIND IT INTERESTING.
Though there are people who attack me as though all I do is address a few peripheral ISSUES, such accusations are not consistent with the facts of my ministry from the 1970s until today.
During my years as pastor, I was involved in preaching, teaching, counseling, visiting, jail and prison ministry, cross cultural ministry, led a large youth ministry, camp ministry, led church growth classes and conferences, headed up a very successful foreign missions ministry, preached missions services and conferences, discipled young men and prepared them for ministry, headed up our own church camp ministries, worked as the vice president of our denominational missions society, worked on the youth board of our denomination, preached at youth camps, taught eschatology classes and cult classes, taught jr high and high school classes in our church school and in other Christian schools, taught Bible college courses in theology, doctrine, church history, homiletics, hermeneutics, Old Testament and New Testament, missiology, Christian/Biblical counseling, cults, pastoral theology, preached revivals, youth camps, missions retreats, went on missions tours to England, Norway, Holland, Mexico City, Colombia, Ecuador and I planned and led a two week missions outreach to the 1976 Olympics in Montreal (involving about 100 different people) and worked on a missions outreach program to the Calgary Stampede in Canada.
I stood against government intrusion and persecution in North Carolina and Texas and traveled to other states (taking men from our church) to stand with churches being oppressed by their own States.
I appeared on TV News and Newspapers, addressing various social and church issues and promoted the ministry. I did chaplaincy work for the trucking industry at one of the busiest trucking hubs in the country.
I carried on a street ministry in Myrtle Beach during Harley Bike Week and Black Bike Week, as well as street witnessing throughout the tourist season.
I have done online ministries since the 1990s, while living in Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina. I have had radio programs and TV programs in North Carolina and Texas and I have had my name displayed openly in various states (sometimes on major thoroughfares) yet people still claim I was "in hiding." There are people I spent years in leading to Christ, leading them in Christ, marrying, dedicating their children, counseling, preparing for ministry, taking around the country in training and ministry trips.
Still, I get blamed for being an ISSUES preacher, supposedly abandoning the gospel. I do admit that I address a lot of areas that are unpopular with pastors today, but they are basic areas of teaching in the New Testament, which are usually shied away from because they are controversial or because they are unpopular concepts. BUT THE PREACHING OF CHRIST AND SALVATION HAS NEVER TAKEN A BACK SEAT TO ANY MINISTRY I PERFORMED.
NOW, I ASK YOU, since you read my messages and see my life displayed all over FACEBOOK AND MY BLOG, does it look like I have abandoned the gospel or been in hiding.
This is to point out that regardless of a man's faithfulness and openness and record, Satan is going to try to discredit him, because Satan can only advance through deception and corruption. Choose your church, choose your pastor carefully.
By the way, I was the one blessed by being called and allowed to do the work of God. Recounting my ministry life is not to to lift me up, but to point out that even when a person spends his life doing the will of God there will be people who will attack and attempt to defame that person.
My disappointment is that I actually would like to have more opportunities and do more of the work of God. DON'T SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY. God has great things for you to do. It is not your ABILITIES that matter to God as it is your AVAIL-ABILITY. God will provide the abilities and God will sustain you when the enemies of the cross attack you for your work.

UH HUH, I ain't joking
You already knew I was nuts. This ought to help.
BECAUSE
It is your stuff, to give as you chose.
They are your grandchildren, you are offering then an even break.
You love your children and your grandchildren.
You are not asking for somethng bad or harmful.
You are not obligated to support a lifestyle without Christ.
In fact, the old saying is,
DO YOUR GIVING
WHILE YOUR LIVING,
THEN YOU'RE KNOWING,
WHERE IT'S GOING.
This thought is just a suggestion, which might be effective for some folks.
I know my suggestion sounds radical. But it is not an evil suggestion.
Some of y'all already have your grandchildren in a Bible preaching church. Praise the Lord.
Some of y'all are poorer than a church mouse. I have actually read about people like that (hehehe). So I also realize that this is not much of an incentive.
Some of y'all have children that are much better off financially than y'all are. Again, not effective.
Some folks just don't like the sound of it. I understand.
But hey, would you pay a ransom to save your grandchildren?
It is like paying their way to camp or spending money on a very special gift or treat, or paying for swimming lessons or a good life jacket.
I am NOT saying this is a Biblical directive to us. I am saying that the attack on children and youth is intensifying, and if the old methods have not worked, maybe putting our money where our mouth is, is not a bad idea. If nothing else is getting your grandchildren to be trained in the word of God, and if you can't come up with another idea, then maybe this is not totally unthinkable.
Also, remember, you are offering something that is good for the whole family. You would be willing to put your money into a needed operation or medical procedure or therapy, why not for their eternal souls?
When you stop to think about it, you give your tithes and offerings to a good Bible church because you want them to reach the unreached.
Anyway, if you don't want to, don't worry about it. Maybe you have a better idea.

We are heading into a spiritual storm that will require uncompromising faith. The youth of today are not being raised with, trained in and empowered by the word of God. For family and church to neglect spiritual enabling and empowering of the children is the same as sacrificing them to the false god, Molech. GOD HELP AMERICA. GOD HELP THE WORLD.

Concerning the ISSUE (as some folks would call it),
CHRIST IS HEAD OF THE CHURCH.
THE enemy will use any excuse, to empower a God hating government to rule over the work of God. Spiritually speaking, citizens are blind, deaf, mindless, heartless, gutless and useless when they go along with this. Either that, OR THEY DO NOT KNOW THE BIBLICAL IMPORTANCE OF THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST OVER HIS CHURCH.
So, a State government (Pennsylvania) hired a homosexual child molester (Jerry Sandusky) to work in one of the most prestigious universities in the nation (Penn State University), to work under one of the most revered coaches in America (Joe Paterno). During his time working for the State of Pennsylvania, Sandusky sexually raped little boys though contacts made possible by "football camps" (contacts made through his relationship with the State) and when his superiors (head coach and two university administrators, for starters) found out about it they turned away, thereby enabling and excusing Sandusky.
However, when it got to the point it could not be ignored, then investigations and legal action imprisoned Sandusky and subsequently opened the door for State intrusion, which would enslave Bible believing, God fearing, honorable and moral men and women across the State. It opened the door for the State of Pennsylvania to usurp the authority of Jesus Christ over His church and thereby undermine the Divine Lordship of Christ over His church in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania used this gross misconduct, by State workers on State property, under State scrutiny and responsible to State laws and accountability, as an excuse to bring every youth and child worker, Christian day school worker, Christian School worker, Home Schooling parent, athletic worker in the State of Pennsylvania under the authority of the State that had already proved itself incompetent to vet or manage anyone.
The Penn State, Jerry Sandusky affair became the excuse for the State to take control of Christian ministries and Christian workers. This perverted, violent, violation of children, preformed by a State employee and working under other State employees became the tipping point that allowed the State of Pennsylvania (which had failed and had betrayed the citizens of the state and had ENABLED and ALLOWED the raping of countless other children to take place) to become the ultimate authority over Christian churches and ministries in Pennsylvania.
But it was not just the power grabbing demigods of the State government that were responsible for the overthrow of the church in Pennsylvania. It was also the fault of the people who called themselves Christian leaders in Pennsylvania, who complied with the CLEARANCE code.
This law made it obligatory for ANYONE (including church workers) who would work with children to get approved clearance from the State of Pennsylvania, including Pastors, Sunday School workers, kitchen workers, vacation Bible school workers, youth and children and infant workers, church school and home school workers. This control of churches and Christians workers included background checks on the people who worked with or near children and also included the workers to submit names of family members for investigation.
I am fairly aware of conditions and I am fairly well read in current events and certainly in State - Church relationships. HOWEVER, this caught me totally off guard. I could not believe that such an horrendous overstepping of government could take place, and also if such a travesty did happen, that it I would not have known about it. WOW, was I wrong.
This blatant misuse of power resulted in the most conscientious Christian workers withdrawing from service. This left the subservient and State minded workers in charge of ministries that should be under the Lordship of Christ.
Seeing the direction of the State usurping the authority of Christ, over His Church, during the seventies and eighties I took whatever steps I could to honor the will of God and to train and lead my people in being BIBLICAL in their service to God. Churches and individuals that compromise the Lordship, the Headship of Christ over His Church will compromise away the doctrines of the Church as well.
The fact that Jesus is the only Head of the Church may have lost significance with some people, but the destructive impact it has on the work of the Church is not lost. Those who trade away His Lordship for ease or pleasure or gain or social acceptance are betraying the One Who bought them.
The State wants to control the work of the Church. The State wants to control the workers of the Church. But the State cannot even protect the citizens against the STATE. The State cannot even police its own wickedness.
The State wants to be head of the Church but the State does not rule, discipline, or judge its own wickedness. However, things change when the State chooses and approves the workers in the church.
If there is a moral and legal breakdown in a church that has been vetted and endorsed by the State, who will take the blame for moral or legal failure in that church. THAT CHURCH WILL ANSWER FOR IT. Even when the State has done the background check and chosen the workers and denied those who do not meet the criteria, when a breakdown takes place, it will not be the State that faces the music, but rather it will be the church. The State wants the power, but not the accountability.
When you stop to think of it, allowing the wicked, worldly State to monitor or police the church is like allowing the fox to guard the hen house. The godless State wants the Church to fail. The godless State stands in stark contrast to, and deadly conflict with the Church. The godless State is ruled by Satan, and his goal is to usurp the rule of Christ in His Church.
Some folks would mistakenly argue that it is the States job to control such activity. Actually, the State often is a major contributor to the problem rather than a healer of the problems.
However, there are already laws against abuse of people, including children. If a person is responsible, deal with that person.
If an organization or system is responsible, DEAL WITH THAT ORGANIZATION OR SYSTEM.
By the way, the State is virtually UNTOUCHABLE in these situations.
On the other hand, when an individual is guilty, the State wants to punish and label the entire organization EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE ORGANIZATION.
Obviously, if it is systemic or inherent to a system, then the system should be held accountable. (Still, the State is exempt to such accountability).
Sadly, the situation in Pennsylvania is representative of State overthrow of churches around the world and is indicative of the direction that other State governments want to go in reducing the dignity, uniqueness, and Divine authority of the Church. The State wants to control (actually remake or destroy) the churches that are strong ministries of the Word of God. When Christians submit to the usurpation of their church, by the State, then those people are complicit with denying that Christ is Lord of His Church.

During his time working for the State of Pennsylvania, Sandusky sexually raped little boys though contacts made possible by "football camps" (contacts made through his relationship with the State) and when his superiors (head coach and two university administrators, for starters) found out about it they turned away, thereby enabling and excusing Sandusky.
However, when it got to the point it could not be ignored, then investigations and legal action imprisoned Sandusky and subsequently opened the door for State intrusion, which would enslave Bible believing, God fearing, honorable and moral men and women across the State. It opened the door for the State of Pennsylvania to usurp the authority of Jesus Christ over His church and thereby undermine the Divine Lordship of Christ over His church in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania used this gross misconduct, by State workers on State property, under State scrutiny and responsible to State laws and accountability, as an excuse to bring every youth and child worker, Christian day school worker, Christian School worker, Home Schooling parent, athletic worker in the State of Pennsylvania under the authority of the State that had already proved itself incompetent to vet or manage anyone.
The Penn State, Jerry Sandusky affair became the excuse for the State to take control of Christian ministries and Christian workers. This perverted, violent, violation of children, preformed by a State employee and working under other State employees became the tipping point that allowed the State of Pennsylvania (which had failed and had betrayed the citizens of the state and had ENABLED and ALLOWED the raping of countless other children to take place) to become the ultimate authority over Christian churches and ministries in Pennsylvania.
But it was not just the power grabbing demigods of the State government that were responsible for the overthrow of the church in Pennsylvania. It was also the fault of the people who called themselves Christian leaders in Pennsylvania, who complied with the CLEARANCE code.
This law made it obligatory for ANYONE (including church workers) who would work with children to get approved clearance from the State of Pennsylvania, including Pastors, Sunday School workers, kitchen workers, vacation Bible school workers, youth and children and infant workers, church school and home school workers. This control of churches and Christians workers included background checks on the people who worked with or near children and also included the workers to submit names of family members for investigation.
I am fairly aware of conditions and I am fairly well read in current events and certainly in State - Church relationships. HOWEVER, this caught me totally off guard. I could not believe that such an horrendous overstepping of government could take place, and also if such a travesty did happen, that it I would not have known about it. WOW, was I wrong.
This blatant misuse of power resulted in the most conscientious Christian workers withdrawing from service. This left the subservient and State minded workers in charge of ministries that should be under the Lordship of Christ.
Seeing the direction of the State usurping the authority of Christ, over His Church, during the seventies and eighties I took whatever steps I could to honor the will of God and to train and lead my people in being BIBLICAL in their service to God. Churches and individuals that compromise the Lordship, the Headship of Christ over His Church will compromise away the doctrines of the Church as well.
The fact that Jesus is the only Head of the Church may have lost significance with some people, but the destructive impact it has on the work of the Church is not lost. Those who trade away His Lordship for ease or pleasure or gain or social acceptance are betraying the One Who bought them.
The State wants to control the work of the Church. The State wants to control the workers of the Church. But the State cannot even protect the citizens against the STATE. The State cannot even police its own wickedness.
The State wants to be head of the Church but the State does not rule, discipline, or judge its own wickedness. However, things change when the State chooses and approves the workers in the church.
If there is a moral and legal breakdown in a church that has been vetted and endorsed by the State, who will take the blame for moral or legal failure in that church. THAT CHURCH WILL ANSWER FOR IT. Even when the State has done the background check and chosen the workers and denied those who do not meet the criteria, when a breakdown takes place, it will not be the State that faces the music, but rather it will be the church. The State wants the power, but not the accountability.
When you stop to think of it, allowing the wicked, worldly State to monitor or police the church is like allowing the fox to guard the hen house. The godless State wants the Church to fail. The godless State stands in stark contrast to, and deadly conflict with the Church. The godless State is ruled by Satan, and his goal is to usurp the rule of Christ in His Church.
Some folks would mistakenly argue that it is the States job to control such activity. Actually, the State often is a major contributor to the problem rather than a healer of the problems.
However, there are already laws against abuse of people, including children. If a person is responsible, deal with that person.
If an organization or system is responsible, DEAL WITH THAT ORGANIZATION OR SYSTEM.
By the way, the State is virtually UNTOUCHABLE in these situations.
On the other hand, when an individual is guilty, the State wants to punish and label the entire organization EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE ORGANIZATION.
Obviously, if it is systemic or inherent to a system, then the system should be held accountable. (Still, the State is exempt to such accountability).
Sadly, the situation in Pennsylvania is representative of State overthrow of churches around the world and is indicative of the direction that other State governments want to go in reducing the dignity, uniqueness, and Divine authority of the Church. The State wants to control (actually remake or destroy) the churches that are strong ministries of the Word of God. When Christians submit to the usurpation of their church, by the State, then those people are complicit with denying that Christ is Lord of His Church.

As I think about it, I am aware that folks who criticized me through the years for preaching on ISSUES (you know, like sin and true discipleship and Christian values), ended up either home schooling or church schooling their children and even sending their children to Christian colleges. hmmm? They sure were smart, in spite of my bad influence.

On paper or standing next to other people, you might wonder about my sanity.
I am so blessed.
Being blessed does not mean we have not trials or that things always go our way, the way we want them to go. It does not mean we don't have heart breaking issues to deal with or that we don't have disappointments.
Still, in the midst of trouble I am SO BLESSED.that sometimes I feel spoiled
I suppose that if I chose to look at my difficulties along the way, my losses along the way, I suppose I could be a whiner and a crier, a moaner.
I don't think it takes much to cause most people to become negative.
I see people who are abundantly blessed in so many way, and then they have a trial, a set back, a bump in the road, a disappointment and you would think that their whole life had been ruined.
It is not what we own (outwardly), or the place we are in (outwardly), or the relationships that we have (outwardly).
It is what is INSIDE that determines your sense of blessing or your sense of cursing. You can feel cursed, even when you are not cured of God.
Don't be one of those people that complains because things are not going your way ALL THE TIME.
Into every life a little rain must fall. Even if you are in the MONSOON season of your life, DON'T BE A CRYBABY. Always give praise and thanksgiving to God.
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.

Setting Worthy Goals
By the time you are 71, it is probably time to set goals in life.
"When I grow up, I want to be like brother Wade... when brother Wade grows up."
I joke around, but he is a worthy example for anyone.
Though I am his senior, by more than a decade, he has many commendable traits.
Growing up includes maturing, but it does not mean getting old before our time.
You never know if you have another breath coming.
We need to know who we are, what we are, where we are and the condition we are in and where God wants to take us. Having a Biblical understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ. Allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you.
Everyone has to make changes.
Setting our goals includes discovering what we need.
We learn what we need in various ways.
(We learn from reading books.)
We learn from the Word of God.
We learn from the Spirit of God.
We learn from mature and spiritual Christians, including the Pastor.
We learn from our experiences.
We learn from observation of others.
We learn from bad things that happen.
Listening to God's holy word is filled with instruction in righteousness and success.
Listening to God's Holy Spirit.
But beware. Not all spirits are God's Holy Spirit. They are not always spirits from God.
Sometimes they are evil spirits masquerading as God's Spirit. They are "angels of light." In other words they are Satanic in origin. Those spirits are "the devil in disguise," or "da devil in da world."
What a BEAUTIFUL DAY. But not every day is as beautiful. I am blessed to live here, because my worst days are better than the best days that some folks ever have in some other parts of the world.
DON'T TAKE YOUR ADVANTAGES AND BLESSINGS FOR GRANTED.
Location, circumstances, time of year all impact the kind of days we have.
Some people are living in sin and therefore cause their own grief. They are living in entanglements, slavery to drugs, their own evil thoughts or bad relationships or bad habits.
Sometimes the only way to break free is through Christ. However, some people break free from some chains, without being saved. It is not that they do it on their own, but they do it without giving God the glory.
Sometimes the unsaved have more self control and self determination than those who are saved.

There is sunshine in my soul today,
More glorious and bright,
Than shines in any earthly sky,
For Jesus is the Light.
No matter where you live or what the weather may be, or what your circumstances or your social climate or your political circumstances, YOU CAN HAVE SUNSHINE IN YOUR SOUL TODAY, by trusting Jesus.
I am broken for those who live in countries where they are persecuted, or countries where they are starving, or where disease runs rampant. I am broken for those in our own country who are suffering because they are not getting the help they need, even if they are Christians.
But you can have Jesus. Even when this world is NO FRIEND OF GRACE. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. You can face every problem, knowing that, "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world." Through Christ you can overcome every problem you ever encounter. You can be "more than a conqueror, through Christ."
But, beware, there are spirits impersonating the Spirit of God.
SO, how can you tell if it is the Spirit of God?
If you do that which He commands (as through His word), you will know if it is Him or another spirit. Obedience to God makes us aware of God. If you do His will; if you are willing to do His will, you will KNOW what His will is.
His sheep KNOW HIS VOICE AND THEY WILL NOT FOLLOW ANOTHER.
The point is that we are His sheep, His children, if we do His will. If we do not do His will, we are not His sheep or His people.
We became sheep by believing, by calling on Him, turning from sins, by following Him, by confessing our sins and confessing Him as Savior.
The way that we become NON-SHEEP, the way we lose our SHEEPHOOD, is to go back into sin. His sheep are the ones who follow Him. When you do not follow, you are not one of His sheep.
You don't lose salvation in the sense that you misplace it.
You lose salvation in the sense that you turn lose of it in order to grab something else in the place of a relationship with God.
God primarily leads us through His Holy Bible and His Holy Spirit, but He also provides leading through His holy servants.
You may deny that we can be holy. You better re-read your Bible again. Don't believe anyone who says you cannot be holy or that God does not require us to be holy.
Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
Be ye holy, for I am holy.
We also learn from bad situations, either in other people or our own experiences.
God does not want us to learn through TRIAL AND ERROR.
But God does not intend for us to learn through bad experiences.
God tells us that we can ask of God, and He will give us wisdom.
We can ask and we will know how to live.
We can ask and we will be empowered to live as we should, because God gives us His Spirit, and then we will be empowered to be and to do that which is pleasing in His sight.
WOW.
We should pursue WORTHY AMBITIONS, WORTHY ASPIRATIONS.
We should know people, whom we want to be like.
But most of all we should want to be like Jesus.
My desire, to be like Jesus,
My desire, to be like Him.
His Spirit fill me,
His love o'er whelm me,
In word and deed to be like Him.
Oh to be like Thee, Oh to be like Thee,
Blessed Redeemer Pure as Thou art.

"You ever notice people would rather STOP SPEAKING TO YOU instead of apologizing when they are wrong?"
There is truth in that statement.
Too bad they don't stop talking ABOUT YOU, AND FALSELY ACCUSING YOU.
How strange that they insist on forcing you to accept and approve their lies as they attack you, your family (including children and grandchildren) by misrepresenting you to anyone who will give ear to their lies.
As Christians we won't hate them, but neither can we approve of their behavior.
God's word says,

LIVING FOR MORE THAN GOLD
Not a bad little video I did concerning POVERTY, from a Christian perspective. I use the word POVERTY in the sense of not being able to provide for your family in your society. I am not talking about abject poverty. The poverty of starvation. Even so, cultural or societal poverty does impact health and well being and can result in death.
I realize poverty is somewhat relative to current standards and local conditions, but there is such a thing as being poor. Unable to meet our needs, even when we are hard working, good stewards.
Poverty is a reality around the world, in America, in our own neighborhoods.
Not only children, but adults suffer poverty. Hard working, respectable people are sometimes unable to pay their bills.
Sometimes a person's poverty is linked to the fact that they are Christians. Financial persecution is a real form of persecution. People are not allowed to make a living wage because of their relationship to Jesus.
This is also true in our own country. Liberals, anti-Bible people want to make Christians do things (at the expense of their own relationship with God)in order to meet the DEMANDS of other people. They say that our FAITH is subordinate to the DEMANDS of other people.
Some people do not have an income, even though they are doing the best they can. They do not deserve poverty. They are a victim to a certain extent.
Some people have a job, but their income is so low, so limited that they are not able to pay their bills or buy the things they need. It is not their fault.
A lot of things enter into the poverty issue. Poverty is both objective and subjective.
I don't put much focus on poverty.
(Of course, folks think that if you are rich you don't care much about, or understand poverty.)
I realize I am rich, compared to a lot of people. That is not even debatable. I am not as rich as some people (smile). But on the world scene, I am like the Rothschild s or the Rockefeller's. In my own society I don't rank with the richest (laughter).
A KING on the world scene may be a poor man in his own society. Living in some parts of the world makes life easier or gives a higher standard of living, but poverty is relative to location and/or relative to the time in which a person lives.
A westerner may not understand the poverty of a street person in Haiti or India or North Korea, but that does not mean that the westerner is not poor in his own society, and poor to such an extent that his family actually does suffer because of it.
Suffering is not always due to a person's failure to do right. Job suffered several problems in life, because he was righteous. God did not afflict Job, but God allowed Satan to afflict Job, to prove Job's faith.
If we focus on our wealth and poverty, we are not focusing on God. When you focus on your status, your condition, you are not focusing on God.
I know people who seem to have a money gene. They seem to get money without even trying. Money comes to some people and not to other people, who are just as deserving. BUT THAT IS OK.
Paul said,
Philippians 4:11-13
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Paul also suffered and affliction, which caused him to seek God's deliverance three times. However, God told him,
2 Corinthians 12:7-9
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Some people do not want to settle for God's grace. Some people do not want to settle for God's provision that make them content. Sometimes it is the false teaching of "health and wealth" or "name it claim it" that robs people of the true riches of God and His grace.
I have had this as a motto.
"I have done so much, with so little, for so long, that I can do almost anything with nothing now." hehehe, is sounds strange, but there is great truth in it.
God has stepped into my life and other people, providing miraculously for our needs. I have done all I can, and still came up short, then God did the impossible. I have lost things from time to time, either because of creditors or the State. I have lost.
But when you get down to it, if you lose a car, you lose a car. If you lose a house, you lose a house. I am not saying it is inconsequential, I am saying it is not worthy of our focus.
People in our society are afraid of poverty. Not real poverty or abject poverty, but "poverty" that keeps them from having the extras in life, the non essentials in life.
People are so afraid because they live for stuff and things of this world. They see their extras in life as essentials. They see their blessings as their their birthright.
It is not just a matter of making enough to live. People often complain because they do not make what they want or feel like they deserve. That may be true, but there is a problem when people start evaluating their lives by the accumulation of stuff.
THIS IS NOT GOING TO GET ME FRIENDS.
Teachers complain about not making enough. I am not saying that things are equitable. I agree, that there is something wrong with a society that pays BALL PLAYERS millions and then the person who has a real job, a people serving job, a job that makes society better, is only given a small income. People who work hard, sacrificially; people who have invested time and money and hard work (not hard play), in their education, training, preparation are worthy of their hire.
HOWEVER (uh oh, here it comes). However, Christians who are teaching in the public schools should be seeking placement in Christian schooling, where the need is greater and the returns are much more productive. We need people, even if it is at a great personal sacrifice, who are pouring their lives into work and ministry that does the greater good and serves a more essential ministry.
People need to determine the direction of their lives based on the real needs rather than the supposed needs, because some things are more important than making money.
The prevalent thought is that it is alright for a missionary to serve God by going to some primitive part of the world and giving up the advantages of the modern, western world. BUT NO WAY are those same people going to sacrifice accordingly and do without in this world in order to serve God here.
Where does the Bible say that we should serve God sacrificially in other parts of the world, but NOT HERE?
If God blesses us with material wealth, financial success, Praise His Name. But if that is what we align our lives for... if that is what we are pursuing, THEN WE HAVE GOT A PROBLEM.
Preachers come out of schools today (whatever that means) and they are looking for the best housing and a good, "financial package." A FINANCIAL PACKAGE. You do remember that Scripture that tells ministers to pursue holiness, live righteously, lead faithfully and "get a good financial package."
It does not say that.
Preachers should be cared for and the church should be supported in ministry, Pastors ought to be well provided for. The Bible teaches this clearly. But a preacher how is seeking the things of this world, isn't worth much. You ain't worth much if you are seeking riches, when you ought to be seeking the Lord and seeking the lost, when you ought to be doing the work of ministry.
This principle is true for pulpit AND PEW. People ought not to be living their lives in pursuit of money, the easy life, big bank accounts, secure futures, university educations for children. They ought to be seeking God and seeking how to serve God.
Education is important, but high dollar education often benefits the education industry more than it benefits the student. I want my doctor to have a really good education, but not everyone needs a university degree to do the work they need to do.
To set desire on money, stuff, status, comfort, prestige IS TO NOT FOCUS ON THE REAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE, the needs of the church and ministry. This is more than financial support of the church. I am referring to personal commitment of time and talents to the work of reaching and teaching and leading the needy.
The youth and children of the whole world and America in particular are being siphoned off and sucked out of the faith and church today. The children and youth need to see adults that are fully committed to the ministry of reconciliation. They need to see adults with their focus on God and His will.
Poverty? I don't like it. I don't pursue it. I don't want others to be plagued by it. But if money, material wealth, temporal blessings are your focus, then you have your eyes in the wrong direction. TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS.
Another thing is, if you do have plenty of money, if you keep hoarding it, accumulating it, building your account, padding your own nest, while people around you, the church, the ministry, are going without, then you have a real problem. You have a bigger problem than the poor man.
If it is going to cost you you to serve God fully, then you need to make the break from your current direction. This includes more that money. Standing with and for the truth can cost you friends, family, position, finances. But you need to stand for the truth and stand with the body of believers.
Hear the call of God and heed His call to salvation and service.

Ask pastor to fine tune your life.
This will require your willingness to face your weaknesses, flaws, shortcomings, misunderstanding, ignorance. It will require you to turn from certain things, turn to certain things, die to self, live sacrificially, be changed into a different person, trust and obey God fully.
Ask pastor (and/or other seasoned saints of God) to help you become the person God wants you to be. Do not hold back. Do not hesitate. Do not hide. Be humble. Be honest. We can only become what God wants us to be when we quit being what God does not want us to be.

There is a battle for the souls of men and the Church seems to be bringing a bowl of jello to a hand grenade fight.

(ok, maybe I ain't funny, but I sit an laugh while I watch it). Of course, I laugh WITH ME, and other folks might laugh AT ME. Either way, I still think it is funny.
While I think this could be used as a tool to reach others, I don't necessarily recommend it as an ice breaker at a family get together, especially if you have relatives in the cults.

05/21/18 REBELLION BEGETS REBELLION AND JUDGMENT
"None so blind as those who WILL NOT see."
Self determined blindness is the condition of a willful sinner, confirmed by God.
God enables men to choose the right, otherwise there is no justice with God concerning sin and judgment. When a person chooses rebellion, he is emboldened to resist the call of God and sin again. This downward death spiral continues until God condemns the sinner to have his own way, to have what he wants, with no recourse.
Proverbs 29:1
1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
Proverbs 6:15-19
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

We cannot change what has been written. Disbelief, hatred and war will rage in the end times. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled by those who scoff at the word of God.
The Church, at large will be engrossed in emptiness, committed to complacency, following futility, unmoved by the need to hear and heed the call of God.

Our Beliefs (doctrines) should be shaped by God's word. God's word should not be bound by Theological methods.
BE CAREFUL IN YOUR STUDY
Satan's twisting of God's word has been taking place since the Garden of Eden. In order for us to know and understand God's word we must pass through a labyrinth of deceit and misinformation designed to keep us from the truth of God.
Theology is the study of God, but unlike the Holy Bible, which is God's unchanging revelation, theology is a system of human tools designed to understand the nature, person and work of God through human methods, based on human understanding.
This is not to say that all theology is wrong or bad. When it is guided by the Holy Bible and submits to Divine revelation it can be a valuable tool. When it replaces Divine revelation it becomes an errant guide.
False doctrines have been formed and honed for the express purpose of leading people away from God. Today the religious landscape is a jungle of entanglements and false guides.
The only hope for anyone escaping the snares of Satan is the fact that God's Holy Bible is true, faithful, authoritative, unchanging and God's Holy Spirit still leads people into the way and life of truth.
A person needs to come humbly to the Holy Bible, seeking Divine leading from the Holy Spirit and choosing teachers that live lives that are consistent with the nature and revelation of God, as seen in the Holy Bible.

This is why I seldom base my position on the words of men. Obviously we need the expertise concerning language and history, but even in those areas we judge the findings of the experts as it agrees with the weight of Scriptural evidence.
To build our beliefs on the beliefs of other men, regardless of Scriptural proclamation is to deny God in favor of mere men. Even the best of men can make mistakes. We too can make mistakes, therefore we must be humble and teachable, but totally committed to the revelation of God.

Some people do not want to TASTE and see. I am not talking about a "trial salvation." I am talking about taste, open up to God, allow God to have access to our inner man and our whole life.
Some folks do not want to taste because they are not interested in the Christian life, sometimes because of the lives that they see people live.
I don't blame them because I see people who live miserable lives and call themselves Christians. Christians ought not to have miserable lives. It is a misrepresentation.

And sometimes all of this is in one person.
Even without sin we sometimes turn people off, just because of our own personality quirks and peculiarities. But we should not willing allow things that are contrary to the nature of God. We ought to have love, kindness, mercy, gentleness, long suffering, wisdom, understanding, forgiveness.
Some people have their own view of being a Christian and there is no way they are going to taste. They are not going to visit a Bible preaching church; or come to a Bible study to learn the word of God.
Some folks have no idea of what it means to be a Christian and they don't want to taste. We need to get them to come with us to services so they can see a body of believers in unity and worship.
Of course, our services better be worth visiting. They need to see joy, peace, power, love.
It does not have to be a perfect church.
It does not have to have the greatest preaching.
It does not have to have the greatest singing.
BUT IT NEEDS TO HAVE SOME LIFE IN IT.
It needs to have LOVE.
It needs to have JOY.
Then when people come they will be able to TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD, as they watch our lives individually and corporately. Then the Holy Spirit will be able to speak to them about their own relationship to God.
Little children do not like to try new foods. But when it comes to tasting and seeing that the Lord is good, children are quicker to respond than most adults.
Adults have deadened themselves to the inner drive to know God. Adults have weened themselves off of spiritual food and developed, acquired a taste for worldly fare. Sin is not only an inner desire, it becomes an acquired taste.
smoking and drinking alcohol are something you have to be able to endure before you start to enjoy it. It is addictive and controlling. People don't start out with a strong affinity for evil. They usually have to work their way into deep sin slowly.
Profanity, obscenity, crudeness, meanness, crime. Yes, there is a sin nature, but deep, dark sin is repugnant to young sinners. It is something they have to get use to before they enter it enthusiastically.
The more people become acquainted with sin, accustomed to sin, the more they acquire the desire to sell out to sin.
Children do not have to re-acquire a taste for God, because they are born in a state of grace. God has already included them in the atonement. We all needed it from conception because we were born with a tainted, a twisted nature. Remember, Jesus is the Savior of all men, and that is because every preborn has been made acceptable to God by the blood of Jesus.
After we are born we all have an empty space in our heart that only God can fill. We are born with a proclivity to sin, but also with an affinity for God. Children need to be nurtured in Christ. Every child comes to a point where we sin against God and we need to call on Him for salvation. But if a child has not been fed on spiritual food, on love, on truth, on mercy, on tenderheartedness, on purity, then that child falls away quickly and completely into the path of sin, desiring the things of the flesh, rather than the things of the Spirit.
Just as a child will turn his nose up and make a face at a new dish and, so it is that those who have been away from God will do the same when they are invited to TASTE AND SEE THAT GOD IS GOOD.
Especially when you offer them the tender side of salvation. Pride holds on to the darker, carnal parts of life and rejects the loving, gentle, trusting and kind aspects, because they are seen as weaknesses.
People have a taste for the ungodly and turn away from that which is godly.
We need to live in such a way that people see something in us that draws them to God, that causes them to TASTE and see that the Lord is good.

RECOVER THE TEACHINGS THAT WERE ABANDONED, TURN FROM SINNING RELIGION.
(13 minutes overview of the visible church abandoning the Scriptures and then rediscovering Biblical truth, from the time of the Protestant Reformation).
The modern, western world is constantly being told, by followers of sinning religion, that Christians have to sin. This is a hand me down from paganism that infected the post apostolic period of the Church, but has continued to pollute the well of teaching until the present time.
Some folks in sinning religion say we cannot live without sinning. We will sin in WORD, THOUGHT AND DEED, which is just about every way to sin.
Others in sinning religion say that we will sin in word, thought and deed, EVERY DAY.
They want us to understand that we are rotten scoundrels to the core, and even the grace of God cannot save us from sinning, but He will take you to heaven anyway.
Of course it is even more than just EVERY DAY. It is ALL DAY LONG. It is not like they say we will only sin a part of the day, like with an hour long sin. That would only be one out of 24 hours, but that is not enough sin for sinning religion. They mean we are going to sin THROUGHOUT THE DAY, every day.
By the time they stipulate how much we will sin, it will be that so-called born again believers in Christ, covered by the so-called blood of Christ, and saved by the so-called grace of God, then we are no better off than the devil, except that we are "saved."
Sinning religion says that God saves people, simply because He chooses to save certain people and He deliberately leaves others in their sins, without any hope of salvation, without the call, the effectual call of God. The god of sinning religion has not saving mercy for some people, but if he does call them it is taunting and teasing, because he has no intention of saving them.
If we go back to the Bible, which is a long way from sinning religion, we find out that the Church did not get into this condition overnight. Adam got into his condition suddenly, though it was a long time coming. There was a moment when Eve was tempted, deceived, and she yielded and then she tempted Adam and he entered into sin suddenly.
Sinning religion today was spawned from the same source as Adam and Eve's sin. It was the devil, the serpent. Paul said that he was jealous over the church and feared lest believers should be deceived and sin, AS WAS EVE, by that serpent.
Sinning religion is the temptation to do what Satan says to do, rather than obey God. BUT WE CAN OBEY GOD, because we are told, "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world."
We are told that people in the Old Testament could not obey God, could not keep His commandments. Well, the Bible contradicts that assertion, because God enabled them to keep His word, His laws.
KEEPING, OBEYING THE LAW OF GOD IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SALVATION. NO ONE IS SAVED BY KEEPING THE LAW, but God does not require us to keep laws that are impossible to keep.
There is so much of the Bible that you have to eliminate in order to follow sinning religion, that I can't even believe it.
If we go back to the New Testament we are told before the life and ministry of Jesus that He would save His people from their sins. But sinning religion says that Jesus saves His people from their guilt, punishment, from the results of their sins, but not from their sins.
John the baptist (John was a good Baptist), said that Jesus was the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
John preached that the kingdom of heaven was at hand and therefore people needed to repent.
Jesus came along and also preached the kingdom of heaven and repentance.
Jesus also told people to DENY THEMSELVES, TAKE UP THEIR CROSS AND FOLLOW HIM.
He said, GO AND SIN NO MORE.
Jesus said, IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.
Jesus said, BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART, FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD.
Jesus said a lot of things that sinning religion does not believe applies to us today, or they twist what Jesus said, making it mean what He did not intend for it to mean.
The New Testament after Jesus, with Paul, Peter, James, John, Luke declares a consistent message that the style of life, the quality of life, the standard of life, which was to be lived by anyone who came to Jesus was, TURN FROM SIN.
Eventually someone asked a foolish question like, "Can we still sin if we are saved." The answer was, "
MAY IT NEVER BE, GOD FORBID, HOW SHALL WE WHO ARE DEAD TO SIN CONTINUE TO LIVE IN SIN?"
We are DEAD TO SIN, and alive to God.
We are to WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.
The Old Man is to be CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST.
God gives us enough grace to RESIST TEMPTATION.
We can OBEY THE GOSPEL.
And it goes on and on and on...
Sinning religion has no place in the New Testament.
But after the life and ministry of Jesus, and during the ministry of the apostles, there were movements beginning to rise up in opposition to the doctrines of God.
But the presence of the apostles kept the rise of false doctrines at bay.
But once the apostles were gone, the attacks on Scriptures intensified.
During the time of the Early Church Fathers (subsequent to the apostles) the doctrinal foundation of the Church began to crumble. resulting in a collapse of Biblical teaching, replaced by a multitude of false doctrines, propagated by a slew of anti-Bible groups.
A long list of groups, from within the Church and outside of the Church introduced false doctrines that eventually found acceptance in some local congregations.
Augustine came along, with his own baggage of confusion and then led the organized Church further from orthodoxy. Since he became a major voice in the western Church (Rome), his errors became authoritative. His errors were really the foundation of Calvin's major errors. Calvin himself said that his beliefs were based primarily on the teachings of Augustine.
Calvin's teaching became fundamental to the Reformers. The belief in unilateral and unconditional election the continuance in sin and the connection of sin with the human flesh as seen in dualism, the belief in using force and violence in the name of God and the Church, the veneration of Mary.
Because the Reformers continued to cling to Roman teaching they responded to persecution, not as Biblical Christians, but as Romanists, by raising up armies to fight the Catholic armies which were sent to kill the Protestants. Then the Reformers sent their armies against other armies raised up by other Reformers. Then the Reformers sent armed men against other believers who did not believe in violence or bearing the sword or killing anyone. The Reformers also saw themselves as rulers over civil issues, and even executed, killed other professing believers because they did not submit to the doctrines of the religious rulers of the region.
This is the religious beliefs and training that has come to the modern, western world, through the Reformed and Calvinistic influences.
In the days of the early Church, the light of truth shone brightly through the Divine revelation of the Holy Spirit to, and through the apostles. Darkness began to fill the Church in various regions after the demise of the apostles until the the word of men replaced the word of God. Through the efforts of the Reformers, light was being rediscovered and restored to the Church. Little by little the abandoned truths were reclaimed.
The Reformation was not a complete return to Biblical Christianity. It would take considerable more time to rediscover doctrines concerning missions, the church, the Holy Spirit, heart purity, eschatology. As someone has pointed out, the problem is not that there were Reformers, but that the followers of the the Reform leaders did not continue to move away from their own limited understanding of Biblical truth.
Today there is much more Bible truth available to us than the Church had for for over a thousand years. Sadly, the truths are not usually found in a single group, because various groups followed their founders only as far as the founders went in their reforming.
Christians today are needing to rediscover Biblical Christianity, just as the reformers and Christian leaders have in the past. This means that we must turn away from the teachings and traditions, with which we have been raised, and follow other Biblical teachings that have been rediscovered outside of our own denominational heritage.
RECOVER THE TEACHINGS THAT WERE ABANDONED, TURN FROM SINNING RELIGION.
(13 minutes overview of the visible church abandoning the Scriptures and then rediscovering Biblical truth, from the time of the Protestant Reformation).
The modern, western world is constantly being told, by followers of sinning religion, that Christians have to sin. This is a hand me down from paganism that infected the post apostolic period of the Church, but has continued to pollute the well of teaching until the present time.
Some folks in sinning religion say we cannot live without sinning. We will sin in WORD, THOUGHT AND DEED, which is just about every way to sin.
Others in sinning religion say that we will sin in word, thought and deed, EVERY DAY.
They want us to understand that we are rotten scoundrels to the core, and even the grace of God cannot save us from sinning, but He will take you to heaven anyway.
Of course it is even more than just EVERY DAY. It is ALL DAY LONG. It is not like they say we will only sin a part of the day, like with an hour long sin. That would only be one out of 24 hours, but that is not enough sin for sinning religion. They mean we are going to sin THROUGHOUT THE DAY, every day.
By the time they stipulate how much we will sin, it will be that so-called born again believers in Christ, covered by the so-called blood of Christ, and saved by the so-called grace of God, then we are no better off than the devil, except that we are "saved."
Sinning religion says that God saves people, simply because He chooses to save certain people and He deliberately leaves others in their sins, without any hope of salvation, without the call, the effectual call of God. The god of sinning religion has not saving mercy for some people, but if he does call them it is taunting and teasing, because he has no intention of saving them.
If we go back to the Bible, which is a long way from sinning religion, we find out that the Church did not get into this condition overnight. Adam got into his condition suddenly, though it was a long time coming. There was a moment when Eve was tempted, deceived, and she yielded and then she tempted Adam and he entered into sin suddenly.
Sinning religion today was spawned from the same source as Adam and Eve's sin. It was the devil, the serpent. Paul said that he was jealous over the church and feared lest believers should be deceived and sin, AS WAS EVE, by that serpent.
Sinning religion is the temptation to do what Satan says to do, rather than obey God. BUT WE CAN OBEY GOD, because we are told, "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world."
We are told that people in the Old Testament could not obey God, could not keep His commandments. Well, the Bible contradicts that assertion, because God enabled them to keep His word, His laws.
KEEPING, OBEYING THE LAW OF GOD IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SALVATION. NO ONE IS SAVED BY KEEPING THE LAW, but God does not require us to keep laws that are impossible to keep.
There is so much of the Bible that you have to eliminate in order to follow sinning religion, that I can't even believe it.
If we go back to the New Testament we are told before the life and ministry of Jesus that He would save His people from their sins. But sinning religion says that Jesus saves His people from their guilt, punishment, from the results of their sins, but not from their sins.
John the baptist (John was a good Baptist), said that Jesus was the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
John preached that the kingdom of heaven was at hand and therefore people needed to repent.
Jesus came along and also preached the kingdom of heaven and repentance.
Jesus also told people to DENY THEMSELVES, TAKE UP THEIR CROSS AND FOLLOW HIM.
He said, GO AND SIN NO MORE.
Jesus said, IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.
Jesus said, BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART, FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD.
Jesus said a lot of things that sinning religion does not believe applies to us today, or they twist what Jesus said, making it mean what He did not intend for it to mean.
The New Testament after Jesus, with Paul, Peter, James, John, Luke declares a consistent message that the style of life, the quality of life, the standard of life, which was to be lived by anyone who came to Jesus was, TURN FROM SIN.
Eventually someone asked a foolish question like, "Can we still sin if we are saved." The answer was, "
MAY IT NEVER BE, GOD FORBID, HOW SHALL WE WHO ARE DEAD TO SIN CONTINUE TO LIVE IN SIN?"
We are DEAD TO SIN, and alive to God.
We are to WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.
The Old Man is to be CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST.
God gives us enough grace to RESIST TEMPTATION.
We can OBEY THE GOSPEL.
And it goes on and on and on...
Sinning religion has no place in the New Testament.

Amazing Past.
Indescribable Present.
Unimaginable Future.
PRAISE HIS NAME
I hope you take the little time it takes to read the following Scripture. It addresses the kind of service we had last night.
The service was heart searching, soul stirring, awe inspiring, God glorifying, enlightening, challenging.
We (children and adults) shared and examined personal encounters with God.
Whatever our personality, gifts, needs, we all must to be open to God, consistent with Scripture, conformed to the image of Jesus, obedient to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is our Guide, the Holy Bible is our standard and a holy life of faith and love is our objective.
I mentioned the past, the present and the future in my post, because God wants to be present and active in our lives, from beginning to end.
The past provides the foundation upon which God builds our lives.
The present indicates our response to God's leading and working.
The future is only as bright as our relationship to Him.
Don't expect a great outcome without a great input; a great return, without a great investment
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Trump is just a man. Not even a saved man.
(so far) In SOME WAYS, he is a better President than any I have actually seen in the past, and certainly a welcome change from from the OTHER possibilities lately.
I never believed other Presidents were the anti-Christ, although the morals and attitude toward Christ, the Holy Bible and Christianity, put certain ones in that camp. Still, I never thought anyone of them would be the Beast of the Bible.
Likewise, I do not believe Trump will be the anti-Christ. Trump has done good things, and right things while in office. This of course does not qualify him for sainthood, but even if he turns against the good things he has done as President, and even if he were to ever become more reproachable to morality and Christianity than any other President was, he still would not qualify to be the anti-Christ.
So, why this post?
Obama showed us that a man who is personable, regardless of (maybe because of) his worldview and Humanistic orientation can win the people and be hailed as a great man, even though he undermined the history and heritage of the greatest country that ever existed.
The anti-Christ will be personable and he will be the champion of the masses. Trump could do even more than he has already done to help America and Israel and the rest of the world, but that will not make him the Messiah.
In fact, it will be a hero (as seen by some in Obama and as seen by some in Trump) who will become the favored son of the post rapture world. No, neither one will become the Beast, but the Beast will not be seen as a monster by the masses. No matter what good things anyone does (or is perceived as having done), we should not be surprised when a hero turns out to be a zero. Remember, Satan comes as an angel of light. Hopefully Trump and those who follow in his train will not betray America.
As I said, I am glad for the good that has happened in this present Administration, but I also know that things are going to go extremely bad before things become paradisaical.
Do not trust in hoses or chariots or the arm of flesh or mere men. Rejoice in the good things, as they happen. But ONLY, PUT YOUR TRUST IN CHRIST.

I realize that anyone can deny anything, at least in their own minds. However, the verses in this article are clear and self evident. I have often referred to them myself and shared them with other people. Of course,
"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."
I offer verses to people, in hope that they will see the truth. However, I am posting this primarily for those who already believe this truth. It is concise and to the point. I hope you enjoy and are blessed.

Thank You Lord for doing the impossible for me and others, spiritual and physical, eternal and temporal. Great is the Lord and greatly to be Praised.
(I hope your read the following comment, and especially the last passage of Scripture)
Unless the rapture takes place in my lifetime, many of my blessings will come to an end, either because of death or because God has another plan. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the Name of the Lord.
Sometimes the burden, the difficulty is relentless, is nearly overwhelming (and would be without His presence and the knowledge of His goodness).
Sometimes the deliverance comes, while other trials linger.
Sometimes relief and restoration comes, but then we still need Him for another round of trouble.
Sometimes we have to fight the battle all the days of our lives, but He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
He is always faithful.
He never fails.
He will give us victories along the way, and
He will give us the final victory.

Unless the rapture takes place in my lifetime, many of my blessings will come to an end, either because of death or because God has another plan. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the Name of the Lord.
Sometimes the burden, the difficulty is relentless, is nearly overwhelming (and would be without His presence and the knowledge of His goodness).
Sometimes the deliverance comes, while other trials linger.
Sometimes relief and restoration comes, but then we still need Him for another round of trouble.
Sometimes we have to fight the battle all the days of our lives, but He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
He is always faithful.
He never fails.
He will give us victories along the way, and
He will give us the final victory.
Galatians 6:9
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
2 Corinthians 4:7-18
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
