When I was in a discussion with a medical doctor (a man of science) I told him that my specialty was Christian Theology, which is the Queen of the Sciences. Of course, not knowing history or Christian theology, he disputed my assertion.

I pointed out that Christian theology is a more exact science than medical science. Of course, he scoffed at such lunacy. I then pointed out that medicine, as a science was not always one hundred percent successful and that there are many physical ailments that medical science does not even address. He agreed. I then pointed out that the Bible is always right when it addresses the spiritual and relational problems of man and that the Bible addresses every spiritual need of man. I also asserted that if people would apply the Biblical solution to their problems, they would inevitably be delivered from their spiritual malady, therefore Christian theology is actually more exact and is more successful in dealing with its field of concern than medicine is.

Needless to say, he was not happy about my explanation, and sadly, neither was he convinced.

But I stand by my position. The spiritual, relational, moral problems of man are addressed in the Bible. They are answered by the Bible and they are healed, when submitted to the God of the Bible.
