I wish I had either known early in my computing days, or had been instructed by someone, about how to organize, store, manage my writings, my photos and videos. I have lost important work, I have spent many hours reworking my work, I have trouble finding and using my earlier works.
This is true in the Christian life. Spiritual guidance, counsel, makes it easier to order our relationships, our development, our service to God. Sometimes we do not have the spiritual mentoring we need and sometimes we slip past the instruction God wants us to have.
The Christian life is a well planned and orderly adventure, from God's perspective, regardless how much it may appear as a hodgepodge. If we listen and learn from God's directives through His word, through His Spirit and through His servants, then our lives will have greater impact and influence immediately and there will be an accumulative advantage as the years come and go.
