01/29/18 EDIFY ONE ANOTHER

01/29/18 EDIFY ONE ANOTHER

I saw/heard a harmonica in a Gospel group, I picked up my own "harp." Seeing successful folks encourages us.
Think about it.

PASSAGES...
Hebrews 10:23-25

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Romans 14:19

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Romans 15:1-3
1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

Colossians 3:16-17

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

I play (around with) a harmonica, but I am not very good at it. Still, I like to play it from time to time. I would like to be able to play it well. Seeing someone do a good job with one stirs me up to practice.

How much more should we be encouraged when we see others living victorious lives. How much encouragement are we to other people, when they see us live victoriously.
