I preached on the importance of keeping a FAITHVIEW of life.
I addressed the power of Positive Thinking, which often times separates between those who are successful and those who are either failures or "also rans," but God has not called us to PMA (positive mental attitude), He has called us to FAITH.
With faith comes peace, praise, thanksgiving. I shared thoughts concerning 4 of the 6 verses in this list. I told the congregation I would try to post the other two verses. Here are all six verses.
As you will see by looking at the verses, God expects us to give thanks, regardless of what we are experiencing and whatever our circumstances may be.
Bad things happen, but our hope is bigger than our burden.
God wants praise from the depths of our being, not simply from our lips or our brain.
In the worst of situations, God is with His children and He will never leave us or forsake us.
All things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
We need to fulfill our ministry since a watching and dying world is in need.
Ephesians 5:20
