Getting and staying right with God and others requires sacrifice and continued commitment, and It takes determination and humility.
Matthew 11:12
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
If we don't want the presence and the blessing of God enough to make the sacrifice, stand firm on His word and strive against darkness, we won't get what God wants us to have.
NOTICE, I am not referring to sacrifice, standing or striving as the works of the flesh. I am referring to total dependence on the presence and power of God, working in us.
