03/04/18 THE WRONG TRAIN

03/04/18 THE WRONG TRAIN

Don't let this be the unseen but true epithet on your headstone.
UNREPENTANT, INCORRIGIBLE, REPROBATE,
ABOMINABLE, BLASPHEMOUS, APOSTATE.

THE WRONG TRAIN
(Metaphorical use of three positions of a lost person, found in Psalm 1:1)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

WRONG TRAIN OF THOUGHT TAKES YOU TO THE WRONG DESTINATION

(walking in the counsel of the ungodly)
It starts by taking the Pleasantview Scenic Tour, where you allow your thoughts, words, actions to travel the way of the world, rather than getting aboard the 777 Heaven Bound. You should have chosen to follow Jesus and the teachings of God's word, the leading of God's Spirit and the counsel of God's ministers. But this is only the first connection to hell.

(standing n the way of sinners)
You then transfer to the Daily Carnal Commuter where you openly defy the word of God. Carnal choices become your accepted and "defendable" viewpoint and your daily way of life. And it hardens your heart even more.

(sitting in the seat of the scornful)
Finally, at your last whistlestop to hell, you transfer to the 666 Perdition Express, which takes you through the dark tunnels of anger, doubt, fear, criticism, fault finding, boasting, emptiness and futility.

The tracks you have taken, have taken you to the lake of fire, but there is no trestle and no turning back. Your remains may have a placard that tells your name, your date of birth and death, and maybe a short memorial. BUT IN REALITY, YOUR EPITHET WILL SAY, LOST FOREVER.

Consider the way of the BLESSED instead.
Psalms 1:1-6

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
