BEFORE WE COULD EVEN SPELL
LIBERALISM.
LIberalism had not gripped the American Public School System as much as it had American Christianity. The Church had been in a fight with Liberalism in Europe for some time and therefore it had become a Theological issue in the American Church. Sadly, American churches were falling prey to Humanism, Secularism, Naturalism, Materialism, Socialism, all of which are tied to Liberalism.
Since I was a Bible believer and knew what was happening in the church scene, I was more aware of the intentions and the history and the deceptions of Liberalism than most of my peers. It was not that I was smarter. I just happen to be involved on the front lines of Christian ministry, which brought me into hand to hand combat with one of our greatest enemies, LIBERALISM.
Actually, I did not even make the political and religious connection of Liberalism until a few years later. In those days we referred to this brand of rejection and persecution as Modernism and Liberalism.
You have to remember, Liberalism's primary target for destruction is Christianity. The other affairs and disciplines of life are simply tools they use to destroy Church. This is why most of my Liberal friends got sucked into the dark maelstrom that opposes God and His word. They were on the back burner, that was bringing education to a scalding infidelity through a slow boil of indoctrination.
