03/17/18 NOT OUR OWN 

We are BOUGHT WITH A PRICE,
Therefore we live to please God
Rather than to please ourselves or please others.

CONSIDER
God owns us through creation, sovereignty and redemption. We belong to God and God has the right to demand submission and loyalty.

God loves us, God is just, God is merciful, God is true, therefore it is not only our duty but it is to our benefit to submit and serve God.

We are designed to please God, therefore rebelling against His will brings us emptiness and suffering.

TESTIMONY
I have found, along with millions of other people who have trusted Christ, surrendered to Christ and followed Christ, that there is joy, peace, love, fulfillment in serving God.
INVITATION
If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, now is the time. You will be glad you did, now and forever.

PASSAGES
1 Corinthians 6:18-20
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
